Victoria Miller, Principal Designer

Victoria Miller was raised in Brampton, Ontario along side her creative younger sister, Kat Frick Miller, who now resides on the East Coast of Canada. Together, they grew up painting and drawing along side their art hobbyist grandmother, Violet Frick, as they summered in Lakefield, Ontario. Victoria was an active dancer and gymnast, but it was figure skating that ultimately stole her attention, as she went on to spend 15 years skating with local clubs. After competing and winning countless awards in both regional and national competitions, Victoria became a member of the Canadian National Precision Skating team, with whom she won numerous international competitions.

Eventually, her creativity and natural affinity toward design led her to Ryerson University to complete a Bachelor of Applied Arts with a Specialization in Design. Following her graduation, she returned to Ryerson as an alumnus in 2006 to assist with teaching in the renowned Fashion Program.

Many of Victoria's own creations have been featured in windows at The Bay and Holt Renfrew and on TV's Breakfast Television. Her attendance and support at local entertainment events and charitable functions are always a welcomed surprise and she and her unique fashions have been publicized in the pages of Hello Magazine, The Toronto Star, The National Post, Fab Magazine, Xtra, and The Montreal Gazette, amongst others.

In her spare time, Victoria is an active volunteer. Her energy and strong flare for entertainment have served as great motivational tools for her as a member of the PWA Bike Rally road crew, rallying and inspiring participants. Victoria�s passion for mental health and addictions has led her to take on an active role with such initiatives as the CAMH Telephone Support Line.

It is Victoria's strong understanding of design technology and social trends that keep her in high demand with clients. Her ability to develop relevant and inspiring work is what separates her from others in her industry. Victoria�s design talents are diverse and multifaceted, but never diluted. This broad understanding and application of a keen eye, makes her an indispensible member of Embrace Design.
